How often should I have an eye exam?
Adults should have a comprehensive eye exam every 1-2 years, depending on age and risk factors. Children should have their first exam at 6 months, then at age 3, and before starting school.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring your current glasses or contacts, a list of medications, your insurance card, and any previous eye health records if available.
How long does an eye exam take?
A comprehensive eye exam typically takes 45-60 minutes. Contact lens fittings may require additional time. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early for paperwork.
